I Believe…

Your wedding day is sacred and deserves to be savored to the fullest.

Enjoying the experience of your wedding day is just as important as the photos produced.

It’s an incredible honor to be the one capturing your sacred day.

My Approach

Being a part of a couple’s wedding day is an intimate thing - especially considering as a photographer, I spend most of the day with a couple. Having some basis of relationship is incredibly valuable to the creative process - whether that be through an engagement session, grabbing cocktails before the wedding day, or as simple as a quick video call.

While shooting, I strive to find that perfect balance between being directive and allowing space for life and personality. I have spent the last 13 years capturing weddings honing this delicate and important balance. My former career as a therapist has equipped me with the tools to help navigate a couple through all ins and outs of a wedding day.

FAQs

  • Yes, I absolutely love traveling domestically and internationally. My photography has taken me to in 16 states and 8 countries to date. In addition to travel costs, there may be a travel fee based on the amount of days away from my studio and family.

  • 12 years! I jumped into full time photography in 2010 having shot for a number of years part time before that.

  • Yes! I’m a huge fan of margin. If the goal is to fully enjoy your wedding day, planning a little extra time at each transition goes a long way. If anything is running behind, the rest of the day won’t be thrown off.

  • The week after your wedding you’ll receive 20-30 sneak peek images. From there, the editing process for the remainder of the gallery takes 6-8 weeks.

  • Yes! In our digital world, I love delivering physical products to my clients. My print lab does an incredible job of printing images as I intended them to be. Beyond that, I offer beautiful, hand crafted heirloom books.

  • It’s tough to say a one size fits all response, but if all of the festivities are taking place at one location throughout the day, 8-9 hours tends to be the sweet spot. For wedding that require traveling to different spots for getting ready, ceremony, reception, etc., I’d recommend 9-10 hours.

  • I split my time between the west coast and the midwest and because I shoot in a number of different markets (San Diego, Palm Springs, Napa, Chicago, and beyond), it’s tough to provide a one-size-fits-all pricing model that accounts for travel, time away from family, etc. Please reach out on my contact form and I’ll happily send over my wedding guide with all that info.

  • I do! Beyond building my business, I’m passionate about helping other photographers optimize their businesses.
